How to Choose Aloe Vera Products

Aloe vera gel comes from the leaf of the aloe plant and is mainly used in topical care for its soothing, moisturizing feel. On this shelf it shows up mostly in hair care—Eva cream baths and leave-in creams from 35 EGP—plus anti-hair-loss shampoos, kids' washes and lotions from Blankie and Penduline, a Derminix sheet mask, face serums and body milks. In many products aloe supports other ingredients like argan oil, panthenol, niacinamide or peptides.

How to choose

  • Check the main active: in many serums and shampoos aloe supports other ingredients rather than leading.
  • For dry, frizzy hair, use a rinse-off cream bath weekly plus a light leave-in cream daily.
  • For children, choose products made for kids, like Blankie or Penduline, not adult formulas.
  • Patch-test new face products on your inner arm for 24 hours, especially with sensitive skin.
  • For persistent hair loss, severe acne or irritation, ask a pharmacist or doctor before buying.

Frequently asked questions

Is the aloe in these products the same as pure aloe gel?

Usually not. These are complete formulas where aloe extract is included at percentages that are rarely listed, alongside ingredients like argan oil, yogurt proteins or panthenol. Choose based on your hair or skin need and the product type, not on the presence of aloe alone.

What's the difference between the Eva aloe hair products?

Cream baths (70–225 EGP depending on size and formula) are applied and rinsed for deeper conditioning, while the hair cream and oil replacement stay in for daily moisture and frizz control. The argan versions target dry, damaged hair; the yogurt-protein version targets weak hair. Ask the pharmacist if unsure.

Will an aloe shampoo stop hair loss?

No product can promise that. Shampoos like Capixy (320 EGP) and Aroma (760 EGP) combine several ingredients that may support scalp and hair condition. Hair loss has many causes, such as low iron or hormonal changes, so if shedding is heavy or ongoing, see a doctor.

Are aloe products safe for everyone? Who should be careful?

They are for external use only and should not be swallowed. Anyone with a known allergy to aloe or another listed ingredient should avoid them, and patch-testing is wise. Don't apply to open wounds unless the label allows it. Some acne creams on this shelf contain an antibiotic, so ask the pharmacist first.

How do payment and delivery work?

You can order and pay cash on delivery, with delivery usually within 12 to 72 hours depending on your area. Prices are in EGP and shown on each product page. If you have questions about ingredients or how to use a product before ordering, ask the pharmacist.
